66. Purity
청정함
This was said by the Lord....
"Bhikkhus, there are these three kinds of purity.
What are the three? Purity of body, purity of speech,
and purity of mind. These are the three."
세존께서 이렇게 말씀하셨다고.... [나는 들었다].
“비구들이여! 청정함에 세 종류가 있소. 무엇이 셋일까요?
몸의 청정함, 말의 청정함 그리고 마음의 청정함이오.
이것들이 세 가지이지요.”
Bodily pure, pure of speech,
Mentally pure and taintless -
A pure one possessing such purity
Is called one who has abandoned all.
몸으로 청정하고, 말이 청정하며
마음으로 청정하여 때[煩惱]가 없네 -
그와 같은 청정함을 갖춘 청정한 사람을
모든 것을 버린 사람이라고 부르네.
