What is right speech? Abstaining from lying,

abstaining from divisive speech,

abstaining from abusive speech,

abstaining from idle chatter: This is called right speech.

무엇이 바른 말인가

확실히 거짓되게 말하는 것을 멀리하고

이간질 하는 말을 멀리하고

악담하는 말을 멀리하고

잡담하는 말을 멀리하는 것이다

이것을 일러 바른 말이라고 말한다.
