담마의 뜻 깨달아 자기의 의무를 지키는 사람은
모든 사람들로부터 사랑을 받는다.
He who possesses virtue and intelligence,
who is just, speaks the truth, and does what is his own business,
him the world will hold dear.
그는 으뜸가는 진리 닙바나를 성취하려고
최선의 노력을 다해 마침내 그 경지에 이르러
감각의 세계를 벗어났고, 또 집착으로부터도 벗어났다
그는 이미 생사윤회를 벗어났다.
He in whom a desire for the Ineffable (Nirvana) has sprung up,
who is satisfied in his mind, and whose thoughts are not bewildered by love,
he is called urdhvamsrotas (carried upwards by the stream).
