모든 죄악을 짓지 않고
모든 착하고 건전한 것들을 성취하고
자신의 마음을 깨끗이 하는 것
이것이 모든 깨달은 님들의 가르침이다

참고 인내하는 것이 최상의 고행이며

수행자는 남을 해치지 말라
남을 해치고 괴롭히지 않는자가 수행자이다
The Awakened call patience the highest penance,
long-suffering the highest Nirvana;
for he is not an anchorite (pravragita) who strikes others,
he is not an ascetic (sramana) who insults others.
