중생은 갈망과 자만심과 사견을 즐겨 윤회를 받으나
여래는 그들로부터 완전히 자유롭나니.
There is no path through the air,
a man is not a Samana by outward acts.
The world delights in vanity, the Tathagatas (the Buddhas) are free from vanity.
허공에는 길이 없고
붇다의 가르침 이외에는 성 빅쿠가 없다.
조건을 지닌 것으로서 영원한 것은 없으며
여래는 그것에 동요하지 않는다.
There is no path through the air,
a man is not a Samana by outward acts.
No creatures are eternal; but the awakened (Buddha) are never shaken.
