7. Understanding the All
모든 것을 이해함
This was said by the Lord....
"Bhikkhus, one who has not directly known and fully understood
the 'All,' who has not detached his mind from it and abandon it,
is incapable of destroying suffering. But one who has directly known
and fully understood the 'All,' and who has detached his mind from it
and abandon it, is capable of destroying suffering."
세존께서 이렇게 말씀하셨다고.... [나는 들었다].
“... 비구들이여! ‘모든 것’을 직접적으로 알지 못하여 온전하게 이해하지
못한 사람, 그것에서 자기 마음을 떼어내지 못하고 그것을 버리지
못한 사람은 괴로움을 없애버릴 수 없소. 그렇지만 ‘모든 것’을
직접적으로 알아 온전하게 이해한 사람 그리고 그것에서 자기
마음을 떼어내 그것을 버린 사람은 괴로움을 없애버릴 수 있소.”
One who knows the "All" in every way,
Who is not attached to anything,
Having fully understood the "All,"
Has overcome all suffering.
갖은 방법으로 “모든 것”을 알고
그 어느 것에도 집착하지 않는 사람은
“모든 것”을 온전하게 이해하였으므로
온갖 괴로움을 극복하였네.
